FOUNDATION LUNCH AND FAREWELL
It’s Eastertide, and to celebrate the joyous fact of Christ’s resurrection the Parish enjoyed a long leisurely lunch commemorating the foundation of the Parish, May 17th 1871. What better way for a traditional Anglo Catholic parish to relax, relate and remember than to the sounds of ‘Latin Lounge’? (Press green button above)
A big thank you to all the ladies of the Parish – Carmen, Cheryl, Gemma, Shirley, Cynthia, Sheila, Veronica, Denise, and others, who helped and served and cooked. Thanks to Father Huw for presiding once again! (see video below)
Over fifty people attended and/or dropped in (great to see Father Peter and Deacon Mike from Saint Pius X joining us for a drink) to celebrate the Foundation of Saint Michael and All Angels...long may the tradition continue!
Speeches were led by Mr.Tony Middleditch reflecting “I really believe the Angels are with us and we must thank Father Huw Chiplin who has been truly extraordinary, and of course of Simon and his helpers (Lawrence in particular) for getting the church open!”
Needless to say, EVERYONE WAS AND IS WELCOME!
Christos Anesti! Christ is truly risen!
